  • Baseball season record holder in doubles (22), on base % (.770), batting average (.625), & saves (8).

  • All Conference baseball 1983, 1984, & All State Honorable Mention in 1984.

  • Scored 971 points in basketball career, made Class A All-State Honorable Mention in 1984 & All South- Egyptian Conference in 1984.

  • Played baseball at Southeastern Illinois College (SIC) & Union University.

  • A Coach's Delight; a true leader on and off the field.

Bruce Walter

  • An undersized post player that was "automatic" from 15-18 feet.

  • A three year starter in basketball and baseball.

  • Member of the 1,000 Point Club, scored 1,115 points in career.

  • Won the free-throw award in 1955.

  • Selected to Multiple All-Tournament and All-Conference teams for basketball.

  • Pitched a perfect game for baseball team in 1955.

Mary Moore

  • A "quiet" champion and leader in girls' softball and girls' basketball.

  • Most Valuable Multi-Sport athlete in 1986.

  • Led girls' basketball team in rebounds for three consecutive seasons (1983-84), (1984-85), & (1985-86).

  • Member of the 1,000 Point Club scoring 1,183 points in her career.

  • Career home-run leader (49)in girls' softball.

  • Career runs batted in (RBI) leader (190) in girls' softball.
